DSEI (Defence & Security Equipment International) is the world’s largest arms fair. It allows arms buyers and sellers to network and make deals. It happens once every two years, in the second week in September, at ExCeL – the huge exhibition centre in London Docklands.
Time after time illegal torture equipment & cluster bombs are on sale, and the majority of countries on the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office’s own list of human rights & democracy concerns list will be invited.
You can find out more on the website of Campaign Against Arms Trade:
Because the arms trade doesn’t like people knowing about their deals to despotic regimes. They want to stay in the shadows – and with good reason.
When people find out about the horrors that the arms trade support they don’t want the world’s largest arms fair in their city. That’s why we need artists to show the world what is happening at the arms fair.
